My kids are early risers. If the upcoming day holds anything they might be remotely excited about (pizza day at lunch!!) they are up before dawn to pre peak. So, it's no surprise that today they were awake at 6, just gearing up for Christmas Tree Day. These important family days have the opposite effect on me and my husband. The pressure is too intense. The kids are boderline psychotic. We just want to make it through without a trip to the ER. I am happy to report that we did snag a sweet tree and have decided to put off the decorating until tomorrow. Children are pretty psyched with the tree. We are worn out and getting extra sleep to deal with tomorrow. Christmas Tree Decorating Day!!!
