With a history of insomnia dating back to college, I am a living legacy of all remedies. Meditation? Tried it. Deep breathing? Done. How about that one where you say "and" in your head over and over? That actually worked. As a mother of small kids I cannot take the beloved remedy of most (my husband included) Ambien. The important bit was this amazing little cocktail of vitamins and minerals. For sleep, take calcium, vitamin d and magnesium. Just before bed.
