Christmas cards

This thing we do every year called Christmas cards haunts me.  It's expensive, time consuming and getting the shot takes years off my life.  We start with the outfits.  Then the placement of the children on the front porch at the right time of day.  At least one starts crying.  That's when my husband gets involved.  This year he juggled, threw things at me and at one point had a diaper on his head to make them laugh.  We got a few good shots but the winner will always remind me of my husband dropping clementines behind me like I was "going potty" and they all laughed their heads off.  Merry Christmas!  Mommy's pooping!

Feeding your people

I am not an organized person. I do, however, need to feed my children three times a day excluding snacks. You need to get your shit in order if you have people to feed. My current solution is a daily run to the local close but gross market for some last minute dinner items. Mostly from the freezer. It's not working so well for me. They are over it and I think it's time to take a page from my superstar sister in laws book. She plans a menu for the week, so smart, and does her shopping once a week. How great is that?
